The part that I was the MOST worried about has begun!

If you refer to an earlier post (our color selections) you would know just how worried I was about choosing Irish Thistle as our siding color.  Well, it started going up today!!  It's not bad so far, I'm just hoping I will like it when it's all done :)  We did not go inside the house because the workers were still there!  We will go back tomorrow with our digital camera and take pictures of the progress.

Here are a few cell phone pictures..

  5. We also liked Irish Thistle, but were not crazy about the brick options they had it matched with.

  6. I like it. Go ahead in while the workers are there.... that way they can put a face with this house they are working away on and they might take a little extra pride in thier work. :)

  7. I love the colors :) So glad they fixed your window. I was really worried about that. I will be looking for that when we get to that point!

  8. We picked Spanish Olive but no one in our community had it yet so we didn't know how it was going to look beyond the tiny sample. Now there is a house that has it and there is also one that has Irish Thistle...I SO wish we had picked Irish Thistle! I love the rich color - perfect choice. :)

  9. The siding looks so classy, Lesli! I think you made a really great choice with the brick. I cannot wait to see your inside photos when you are able to sneak in without the workers! Those are always the best photos for us.

  10. Hi Leslie, It looks awesome! I had that weird feeling as the brick was going up because I never had intention on getting brick. Once it is all completed with the painted trim etc. You should love it!!
